We are in a SERMON SERIES called,  “LET’S BUILD”.   It’s going to be 4 weeks long. This is week 3.  We are looking at some metaphors in the Bible – and more than metaphors, but actual events of building…

Two weeks ago we kicked-off, with a foundational passage of Scripture that Jesus preached in a sermon.  At the very end of the SERMON on the Mount, he said,

24 “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. 

(Matthew 7:24-25)

A question that we are going to keep coming back to is, “What are you building your life on?”
