Praise & Prayer

Some more good news about Renee!! She was doing such a good job of initiating her breathing on the ventilator at the morning trial yesterday that she stayed on that setting all day! At night they gave her some extra support again to help her sleep. She has been back to initiating her breathing on the machine since 8:00 this morning and she managed to continue to do that even during her physio which included 10 minutes of sitting up. This is quite good as that usually tires her out.

She is currently on dialysis and is having a good sleep. Please keep praying for wisdom for the doctors on meds for her so she doesn’t have to keep taking more than she needs for things that are giving her some side effects and yet that she gets what she needs if that makes sense. She did feel her skin crawling the last few nights but some wet cloths gave her some relief.

She still has a ways to go but these steps help bring her closer to starting the process of weaning her off the ventilator so we are thankful for the victories and prayers.

I did get her phone working for her again and although she may not be up to a lot of replying right away feel free to contact her or me if you prefer.
