Ryan & Rosalee
As many of you know Ryan's leg and foot were badly hurt by an auger on Nov 11. We thank God for so many events that kept this from being much worse.
Please be praying for Ryan as he waits for surgery and healing. We are praying for the complete restoration of his leg and foot. He is still in hospital in Red Deer - updates will be posted below.
We are also praying for Rosalee, Riley, Lacey and Eve. Right now there is lots of practical family support around them.
We have set up a freezer at the church for meals & baking to be dropped off. It is in the storage room through the library.
When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.
Isaiah 43:2
We are home till next Tuesday when he will go back to Red Deer to have his foot and wounds reassessed. Please be praying against infection and the need for skin grafts or flaps. …..
Finally home! We’re so thankful to have him back with us. Pain has been a challenge, so please pray for that……
Pray for Ryan! He was taken into surgery around 7am this morning. Pray for wise surgeons and great circulation!
The surgeon looked at Ryan's foot this morning. The swelling is down enough to do surgery this weekend… He is on the list for the next few days, the guy was going to try and get him in asap. …..
Got a quick visit in with Ryan today. Kids were very happy to see him after more than a week!…..
Ryan will be in Red Deer until Friday morning when they will assess if the swelling is down enough to operate. …..
Ryan is out of Surgery, they were able to clean out his leg wounds, fixed some tearing on his Achilles tendon….
This is a place we never hope to be, and yet, here we are. As many of you know Ryan's leg foot was badly hurt by an auger yesterday. We thank God for so many events that kept this from being much worse.
